Alpharetta Arts Commission Approves Pinecone Community Art ProposalFebruary 2, 2023, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution: Empire Homes is developing a 50-townhome community at the intersection of Kimball Bridge Road and Northpoint Parkway in Alpharetta. As part of the Planning Commission and Design & Review Board’s conditions, Empire is required to include a monument onsite with “Eco District” on a sign along with an “enrichment feature.”
Empire Homes is naming the townhome neighborhood “Pinecone Community,” and have presented a design with large metal pinecone sculptures. The monument plan includes a landscaping and maintenance plan.
