February 13, 2023, Community Impact: An 800-home community, Emory Glen, has begun selling homes as of a Feb. 2 news release after home construction began in late 2022. Located off FM 1488 west of FM 1774 in Magnolia, Emory Glen spans 221 acres and is being developed by Empire Continental.
The community’s recreation complex is also anticipated to open this summer, including an open lawn area, a resort-style pool, a pavilion, a park and a splash pad, according to the release.
