HomeAid, Empire Homes join Boys And Girls Country to dedicate cottagePublished in Chron, October 9, 2020
On September 21, HomeAid Houston, a 501(c)(3) charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association and Empire Homes joined Boys and Girls Country and representatives from Woodforest National Bank to celebrate the dedication of an 8,100- sqaure-foot cottage, called Woodforest Cottage, that will be home to eight children who have come from families in crisis. The cottage is designed to instill security, warmth and a nurturing environment for as long as the children need a safe haven, many times through high school.
