The next generation of homebuilders are working on site at Empire’s Avalon community this year to complete their co-operative training program from McKinnon Park Secondary School. The program runs from February to June 2019 and 10 students are participating. The students, who will also be working at Empire Wyndfield’s community in Brantford, will work alongside various trades to gain knowledge and experience for their future careers. Construction at Avalon is continuing in their first few phases and new residents continue to move into the community every month.
